Having the space to conquer

I have a mammoth task of looking out at the world right now. The world that knows better, the world that can see the monumental task ahead when light fills a room. We all want to be a light that shines brightly, we want that light to guide us in a direction of faith, healing and love. We want that love to shine with in us, we want our world to be a beacon of strength.
I went to the supermarket this morning in the hope of finding something small I could consume. Something that would give me a lift to conquer the rest of the day. Everyone was calm, there were no screaming hysterias and people fleeing with the last shreds of toilet paper. There was an overwhelming sense that maybe we could get through this shopping experience in a more positive light. We gave each other space; we walked the isles like there was no worry in the world. I allowed the lady standing at the registers to take my place, she was only buying a newspaper. I was overwhelmed with love. This woman was not part of the hysteria. She was just buying a paper. She looked at me with a smile that made my day. She wished me well and she went off on her merry way.
How can people show that side of them and others are in agony? Showing a softer side in humanity brings out the splendour of life. I have just started a new job in childcare. I have manifested a job I so desperately wanted. A job where I could be at reception and lead by example, show a more tolerable way of life. We started this week all together. A group of women that had not met before, a group of women that have one thing in common, decency. Our training this week has taught us about values. About what we are wanting in life. About what we are wanting to achieve. Values hold a special place in my heart, it shows what you can truly achieve. It shows the heart of a person. A person that can lead by example and bring a little smile to oneself. A smile can uplift a room. A smile can champion the next person to generate more love and accomplishment where they stand.
We all walked out of the training with our eyes open more to the world. We were in our own cocoon. In that room, there was trust. There was that sense of belonging, of knowing that we were all having that concept that life can take us on ups and downs. It can lead us to a road of sentiment, a road of upheaval, a road of selfishness or a road of looking ahead with the bravo that we all need. We have forged a bond that will take us higher in the months to come. A new day dawns and we are ready to battle the demons all together.
Love your wisdom and insight.xx
